REVAMP Africa concluded The She-Tech Digital Inclusion Programme (SheTech Boot Camp 2.0), an intensive digital skills, online safety, and life skills training for female youths between ages 15-35 from Lagos and Kwara State.
Our She-Tech Digital Inclusion Programme is designed to bridge the gender gap for females in Tech, reduce unemployment and join in the fight to eradicate poverty.
Several research has proven that there is a huge fallback in technology education in Nigeria, especially among the female gender. This inequality has led to unfavourable employment opportunities, financial incapacitation, deprived rights, forced early marriages, and lowered self-esteem, to mention a few.
The average Nigerian female youth lives with too much dependence for survival.
Through the She-Tech Boot Camp, the female youths gain skills that enable them to start up small businesses or build a career in tech, thereby becoming financially sustainable.
The high-intensive training had participants learn Website Design/Development, Social Media Management/Advertising, Business Planning, Marketing, Communication, Branding, etc.
The She-Tech Boot Camp was implemented FREE for all her female participants!
