We raised the bar in 2021 as we impacted 90,000 students across almost all the 36 states in Nigeria. This project was made possible by a continued partnership with Access Bank Retail Banking Division.
The initiative in its third phase is tagged, as ‘PROJECT L.E.A.D’.
L.E.A.D is an acronym that stands for LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION and ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT.
‘Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression. —Haim Ginott’
- The project aimed to drive improvement in five critical areas:
- Values and Moral Behaviour
- Reading Culture
- Academic Performance
- Financial Literacy
- Personal Leadership
The 4-week programme is directly aimed at grooming the students for improved academic performance, leadership and good moral values through topics on Values and Morality, Time management, Goal setting and Financial Literacy. Each session ended with activities given to the student to further increase their attention regarding the topic which will in turn evoke an action in them.
Taking the project a notch higher to impact 90,000 students across almost all the 36 states in Nigeria was remarkable. The young people were positioned for excellence in their academics, leadership skills and financial literacy.
